The Lee-Bardwell Public Library is located just off Gladewater, TX's charming downtown area. The Library is committed to creating an environment of public service to the community we serve. The library currently provides book-lending, computer assistance, and copying and other services for the well-being of the community. Since reopening in November 2022, the library has hosted events such as Medicaid informational programs, vision screenings for the Lions’ Club, meeting spaces for education and employment-related activities, educational and fun activities for children, family game and movie nights, story times, and STEM events. The library also hosts a monthly book club and weekly crafting club. Recently, the library was one of two libraries in the state to participate in a pilot program concentrating on disaster planning and community resiliency with libraries as convenors for the community.
